The modernized Brooklyn Hospital Center will be an over 800,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art medical campus.
Increased capacity will accommodate patients receiving a broad range of healthcare services, while the new facility also will expand outpatient capacity substantially.
The new campus will be nearly 50% larger than the current hospital, allowing for new and expanded acute care services.
New facilities will include:
- A cancer center
- An ambulatory surgery center
- An outpatient diagnostic center
Expanded and enhanced facilities will include:
- A cardiac center
- An emergency department
- A maternity ward
- A breast cancer center
