The Brooklyn Hospital Center is Brooklyn’s oldest hospital.

Bounded by Dekalb Avenue and Willoughby Street, Ashland Place and Fort Greene Park, the hospital occupies 6.6 acres comprising six buildings ranging from 40 to over 100 years old.

A new plan to modernize The Brooklyn Hospital Center will shift the campus closer to DeKalb Avenue, creating seven new buildings, not only where the hospital is today, but on underutilized space currently dedicated to surface parking.
